Seventh-rankedBrave Warriors (6-43) gave a tough game to fourth ranked Thunders (27-22) in Gunma. Thunders managed to secure only three-point victory 86-83 . However their fans expected easier game. Strangely Shinshu outrebounded Gunma CT 48-33 including a 19-5 advantage in offensive rebounds. Shinshu was plagued by 28 personal fouls down the stretch. Ghanian-American Ben Bentil (206-1995, college: Providence) notched a double-double by scoring 27 points and 11 rebounds to lead the effort and American guard Trey McKinney-Jones (198-1990, college: Miami, FL) supported him with 25 points and 6 rebounds. Even a double-double of 15 points, 12 rebounds and 8 assists by American forward Justyn Mutts (201-1999, college: Virginia Tech, agency: Pensack Sports) did not help to save the game for Shinshu . His fellow American import center Wayne Marshall (211-1986, college: Temple) added 12 points and 12 rebounds for the guests. Four Shinshu players scored in double figures. Brave Warriors' coach tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Gunma CT moved-up to third place, which they share with Sunrockers Sh. Shinshu lost seventeenth consecutive game. They keep the seventh position with 43 games lost.
