A very close game took place in Hiroshima betweenDragonflies and Dolphins . Fourth ranked Dragonflies (25-20) got a very close home victory over much higher ranked Dolphins (28-19). Dragonflies managed to escape with a 1-point win 84-83 on Sunday evening. Hiroshima D. looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. American forward Dwayne Evans (201-1992, college: St.Louis, agency: Pensack Sports) notched a double-double by scoring 13 points, 5 rebounds and 10 assists to lead the effort and the other American import forward Kerry Blackshear Jr (208-1997, college: Florida) supported him with 19 points (made all of his ten free throws !!!). Even 19 points and 7 rebounds by Brazilian-American center Tim Soares (211-1997, college: Master's) did not help to save the game for Nagoya DD . American power forward Scott Eatherton (208-1991, college: Northeastern) added 11 points and 9 rebounds for lost side. Four Hiroshima D. and five Nagoya DD players scored in double figures. Dolphins' coach tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Dragonflies have a solid four-game winning streak. Hiroshima D. moved-up to third place, which they share with Kawasaki. Nagoya DD lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the second position with 19 games lost.
