The biggest surprise took place whenAquas (12-6) edged league's leader Leopards (11-6) 118-117 on Sunday evening. It was a key game for the top position in the league. Kaohsiung A. dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to Leopards 's 38. Lithuanian center Mindaugas Kupsas (216-1991, agency: BIG) chipped in a double-double by scoring 23 points and 14 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was American-Liberian Lasan Kromah (198-1991, college: UConn, agency: Octagon Europe) who recorded 24 points and 8 assists and the former international point guard Yu-An Chiang (174-1991) added 25 points and 6 assists respectively. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Aquas have an impressive six-game winning streak. Kaohsiung A. keeps a position of league leader. Taiwan Beer L. at the other side dropped to the second place with six games lost. They were replaced at the leadership position by Kaohsiung A..
