Top rankedMongolia (26-2) recorded its second loss in Hohhot on Saturday night. Hosts were defeated by second ranked JinQiang (25-2) 82-77 . It ended at the same time the 20-game winning streak of Mongolia. It may be a crucial game in the contest for the top position in the league. Sichuan dominated down low during the game scoring 46 of its points in the paint compared to Mongolia 's 20. The best player for the winners was the former international forward Li Meng (185-1995) who scored 17 points and 8 rebounds. Forward Zhao Xuetong (185-1993) chipped in a double-double by scoring 13 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was Bahamas-Bosnian center Jonquel Jones (198-1994, college: GWU) who recorded a double-double by scoring 24 points, 13 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals and the former international center Pan Zhenqi (190-1995) added 20 points respectively. Five Sichuan and four Inner M. players scored in double figures. JinQiang have an impressive seven-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains second position with 25-2 record behind leader Inner M. Inner M. at the other side still keeps top place with two games lost.
