No shocking result in a game when fifth rankedGambarous (22-12) beat 17th ranked Scorpions (8-24) in Tokushima 94-76 on Sunday. Tokushima Gam. looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. American power forward Tavrion Dawson (202-1996, college: CSUN, agency: One Motive Sports) notched 29 points and 7 rebounds to lead the effort and the other American import power forward Jeremy Combs (201-1995, college: Texas Southern) supported him with 17 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. Four Gambarous players scored in double figures. Even a double-double of 19 points and 11 rebounds by Guamanian-American guard Earnest Ross (198-1991, college: Missouri, agency: Haylett Sports) did not help to save the game for Toyoda . Australian center Andrew Ferguson (213-1998, college: CS Monterey) added 20 points and 10 rebounds for lost side. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Tokushima Gam. moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Yokohama. Loser Scorpions keeps the seventeenth position with 24 games lost.
