Regular Season Round 11: Taiwan Beer L. - Kaohsiung A. 101-108

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of top-ranked Leopards (11-5) against third ranked Aquas on Saturday night. Aquas were defeated by third ranked Aquas (10-6) 108-101. Kaohsiung A. looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists. It was a great evening for American-Filipino guard Jason Brickman (183-1991, college: LIU Brooklyn, agency: Interperformances) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 11 assists. Lithuanian center Mindaugas Kupsas (216-1991, agency: BIG) helped adding 24 points and 13 rebounds. American power forward DeMarcus Cousins (211-1990, college: Kentucky) responded with a double-double by scoring 20 points, 15 rebounds and 8 assists and American-Liberian Lasan Kromah (198-1991, college: UConn, agency: Octagon Europe) scored 26 points. Five Taiwan Beer L. players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Aquas have a solid series of four victories in a row. Kaohsiung A. maintains third place with 10-6 record behind leader Taiwan Beer L. Taiwan Beer L. at the other side still keeps top position with five games lost. Kaohsiung A. are looking forward to face Taipei TM (#4) at home in the next round. Taiwan Beer L. will play against Kaohsiung A. and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
