Everything went according to plan in Yamaguchi where fifth rankedGambarous (20-9) outscored 13th ranked Pats Five (10-19) 111-69 on Saturday. Tokushima Gam. dominated down low during the game scoring 70 of its points in the paint compared to Pats Five 's 44. Tokushima Gam. forced 21 Yamaguchi turnovers and outrebounded them 49-30 including 18 on the offensive glass. Tokushima Gam. looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Americans were the main players on the court. The best player for the winners was power forward Tavrion Dawson (202-1996, college: CSUN, agency: One Motive Sports) who had a double-double by scoring 28 points and 11 rebounds. Power forward Jeremy Combs (201-1995, college: Texas Southern) chipped in a double-double by scoring 26 points and 10 rebounds (on 11-of-13 shooting from the field). Four Gambarous players scored in double figures. Forward Deandre Abram (203-1997, college: Milwaukee) produced a double-double by scoring 21 points and 10 rebounds and swingman Jelan-Miguel Kendrick (201-1991, college: UNLV, agency: Interperformances) added 13 points and 8 rebounds respectively for the hosts. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. The victory was the third consecutive win for Gambarous . Tokushima Gam. moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Yokohama. Yamaguchi lost their fourth game in a row. They keep the thirteenth position with 19 games lost.
