Top rankedN.Taipei CTBC (9-4) recorded its fourth loss against third ranked Aquas on Sunday night. Aquas were defeated by third ranked Aquas (9-6) 99-93 . It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of N.Taipei CTBC. It may be a crucial game in the contest for the top position in the league. Kaohsiung A. made 26-of-31 free shots (83.9 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists. 26 personal fouls committed by N.Taipei CTBC helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The best player for the winners was American-Filipino guard Jason Brickman (183-1991, college: LIU Brooklyn, agency: Interperformances) who had a triple-double by scoring 24 points, 10 rebounds and 11 assists. Lithuanian center Mindaugas Kupsas (216-1991, agency: BIG) chipped in a double-double by scoring 15 points and 11 rebounds. Aquas' coach Brendan Joyce used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the other side the best for losing team was Jamaican Tyran De Lattibeaudiere (202-1991, college: Lamar, agency: Octagon Europe) who recorded a double-double by scoring 24 points and 12 rebounds and Croatian center Kristijan Krajina (208-1990, college: Mt.St.Mary's, agency: 011 Sports) added 22 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field) respectively. Five Kaohsiung A. and four N.Taipei CTBC players scored in double figures. Aquas have a solid series of three victories in a row. Kaohsiung A. moved-up to second place. Defending champion N.Taipei CTBC still keeps top position with four games lost.
