The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of top-rankedDreamers (10-2) against third ranked Lioneers on Sunday night. Lioneers were defeated by third ranked Lioneers (6-4) 94-89 . It ended at the same time the ten-game winning streak of Dreamers. They outrebounded Dreamers 56-44 including a 45-29 advantage in defensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international point guard Kuo-Hao Kao (179-1998, college: SEMO) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 26 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists and Nigerian-American guard Michael Efevberha (195-1984, college: CSUN) who added 28 points and 11 rebounds during the contest. Four Lioneers players scored in double figures. American forward Julian Boyd (203-1990, college: LIU Brooklyn) responded with a double-double by scoring 19 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists and his fellow American import Devyn Marble (198-1992, college: Iowa) scored 16 points and 7 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Lioneers have an impressive six-game winning streak. They maintain third position with 6-4 record having six points less than leader Dreamers. Dreamers at the other side still keep top place with two games lost.
