Another exciting game was again a derby between two local teams from Doha:Al Arabi (#2) and Qatar Club (#6). Al Arabi (10-3) won against visiting Qatar Club (5-8) 82-77 . Al Arabi dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Qatar Club 's 36. They outrebounded Qatar Club 40-28 including 27 on the defensive glass. Al Arabi looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. American guard Walter Lemon Jr (191-1992, college: Bradley) fired a double-double by scoring 26 points, 7 rebounds and 10 assists for the winners. Center Mohamed Hussein (203-1996) chipped in a double-double by scoring 15 points and 13 rebounds. Four Al Arabi players scored in double figures. American guard Sindou Diallo (194-2000, college: Montana Tech) produced 34 points (!!!) and 4 assists and Serbian Dejan Janjic (198-1995) added 17 points and 5 rebounds respectively for lost side. Al Arabi maintains second place with 10-3 record behind leader Al Ahli D. Qatar Club lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the sixth position with eight games lost.
