An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Akita. Fourth rankedHappinets faced their close opponent Fighting Eagles . Host Happinets (14-12) defeated guests from Nagoya (13-11) 71-61 . The game was dominated by American players. Tanner Leissner (201-1995, college: UNH) fired a double-double by scoring 14 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. Center Steve Zack (211-1992, college: La Salle) chipped in 10 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. Four Happinets players scored in double figures. Power forward Sean OMara (208-1995, college: Xavier) produced a double-double by scoring 20 points, 21 rebounds and 4 assists and forward Jeremy Jones (201-1996, college: Gonzaga) added 9 points respectively for lost side. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Happinets have an impressive series of five victories in a row. Akita NH moved-up to third place. Newly promoted FE Nagoya keeps the fourth position with 11 games lost. They share it with Nagasaki.
