Regular Season Round 6: Taipei TM - Taiwan Beer L. 102-109

There was no surprise when 5th ranked Taipei TM (2-6) was defeated by second ranked Leopards (6-4) 109-102 on Sunday. Taiwan Beer L. made 18-of-22 free shots (81.8 percent) during the game. Taiwan Beer L. outrebounded Taipei TM 53-42 including a 35-22 advantage in defensive rebounds. Taiwan Beer L. looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. American-Liberian Lasan Kromah (198-1991, college: UConn, agency: Octagon Europe) had a double-double by scoring 25 points, 9 rebounds and 11 assists to lead the charge for the winners and American center Devin Williams (206-1994, college: WVU) chipped in 15 points, 22 rebounds and 5 assists during the contest. The best for the losing side was American Erik McCree (202-1993, college: La Tech) with a double-double by scoring 26 points and 12 rebounds and his fellow American import forward Danny Pippen (206-1997, college: Kent St.) produced a double-double by scoring 18 points and 14 rebounds. Five Taiwan Beer L. and four Taipei TM players scored in double figures. Taiwan Beer L. maintains second position with 6-4 record having just three points less than leader N.Taipei CTBC. Taipei TM lost fourth consecutive game. Newly promoted team stay at the bottom place with six games lost. Taiwan Beer L. will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Taipei TM will play against the league's second-placed Taiwan Beer L. (#2) and hope to secure a win.
