The game in Iwate was also quite interesting. Fourth ranked Wyverns (10-13) played at the court of 6th ranked Big Bulls (5-18). Wyverns managed to secure a 6-point victory 69-63 on Sunday. Worth to mention a great performance of American James Bell (196-1992, college: Villanova, agency: Slash Sports) who helped to win the game recording 22 points and 4 assists and point guard Shinya Murakami (173-1991) who added 18 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was American forward Kelvin Martin (196-1989, college: Charleston So.) with 20 points and 6 rebounds and his fellow American import center Eric Thompson (204-1993, college: Pacific) scored 8 points and 9 rebounds. Yamagata maintains fourth position with 10-13 record. Iwate lost fourth consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the sixth place with 18 games lost.
