Regular Season Round 10: Qatar Club - Al Ahli D. 64-76

Another interesting game was again a derby match of two local teams from Doha: Al Ahli D. (#2) and Qatar Club (#6). Qatar Club was defeated at home 64-76 and even the fact of playing on their own court did not help. International forward Ndoye Seydou (201-1999) fired 34 points (!!!) and 7 rebounds for the winners. American guard Bruce Massey (190-1990, college: MTSU, agency: BIG) chipped in 25 points, 9 assists and 6 steals. American guard Sindou Diallo (194-2000, college: Montana Tech) produced 24 points and Serbian Dejan Janjic (198-1995) added 18 points and 6 rebounds respectively for lost side. Al Ahli (8-2) have an impressive eight-game winning streak. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Al Arabi. Loser Qatar Club keeps the sixth place with five games lost. Al Ahli's supporters look forward to another derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Doha to the arena Al Shamal.
