Important game to mention about was the one when fourth rankedLioneers (2-4) saved a 1-point victory edging 3rd placed Fubon Braves (4-4) 103-102 on Sunday evening. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Fubon Braves. Lioneers forced 23 Fubon Braves turnovers. Nigerian-American guard Michael Efevberha (195-1984, college: CSUN) nailed 29 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists for the winning side and American Earl Clark (208-1988, college: Louisville) accounted for 19 points and 9 rebounds. Five Lioneers players scored in double figures. American forward Michael Singletary (198-1988, college: Texas Tech) came up with a triple-double by scoring 25 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists (was perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line) and the other American import power forward Chris Johnson (210-1985, college: LSU, agency: Worldwide SM) added 21 points and 5 rebounds respectively for Fubon Braves in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Despite that victory Lioneers went down to fifth position due to points difference. Defending champion Fubon Braves keep the third place with four games lost.
