The most exciting game of round 21 in the B1 League took place in Kyoto. This derby game ended with only three-point defeat on the road of second-bestTochigi Brex (16-5) to eighth ranked Kyoto H. (6-15) 86-83 on Sunday evening. It was quite big embarassment for the guest team. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Tochigi Brex. It was a good game for American forward Kevin Jones (203-1989, college: WVU) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 10 rebounds. Canadian-Filipino guard Matthew Wright (193-1991, college: St.Bonaventure) contributed with 19 points and 4 assists for the winners. The former international swingman Makoto Hiejima (191-1990) answered with 18 points and 4 assists and American guard DJ Newbill (193-1992, college: Penn St.) added 19 points and 4 assists in the effort for Tochigi Brex. Tochigi Brex's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Kyoto H. maintains eighth place with 6-15 record. Tochigi Brex at the other side keeps the second position with five games lost.
