Third-rankedAquas (3-5) gave a tough game to first ranked N.Taipei CTBC (7-3). N.Taipei CTBC managed to secure only two-point victory 102-100 . However their fans expected easier game. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Aquas. N.Taipei CTBC players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. Kaohsiung A. was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. The former international forward Mohammad Gadiaga (188-1998) nailed 26 points, 7 rebounds, 7 assists and 4 steals for the winning side and Serbian Dragan Zekovic (209-1987) accounted for 28 points and 7 rebounds. The former international guard Huan-Ya Yu (182-1993) came up with 32 points, 5 assists and 5 steals and American-Filipino guard Jason Brickman (183-1991, college: LIU Brooklyn, agency: Interperformances) added 18 points, 7 rebounds and 11 assists respectively for Kaohsiung A. in the defeat. Five N.Taipei CTBC and four Kaohsiung A. players scored in double figures. Aquas' coach tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. N.Taipei CTBC have a solid series of three victories in a row. Defending champion maintains first place with 7-3 record. Kaohsiung A. at the other side dropped to the fourth position with five games lost.
