No shocking result in a game when sixth rankedBroncos (14-8) crushed 13th ranked Scorpions (7-15) in Saitama 107-83 on Friday. Saitama outrebounded Toyoda 46-30 including 33 on the defensive glass. Saitama looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists. Naturalized American center Will Creekmore (205-1989, college: Missouri St.) nailed a double-double by scoring 21 points, 12 rebounds and 6 assists for the winning side and American forward Jordan Faison (201-1994, college: CPP) accounted for 20 points, 7 rebounds and 9 assists. Five Broncos players scored in double figures. Guamanian-American guard Earnest Ross (198-1991, college: Missouri, agency: Haylett Sports) came up with a double-double by scoring 28 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists and American Daniel Laster (199-1996, college: Gardner-Webb) added 24 points and 6 rebounds respectively for Toyoda in the defeat. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. The victory was the fifth consecutive win for Broncos . Saitama maintains sixth place with 14-8 record, which they share with Yokohama. Toyoda lost their third game in a row. They dropped to the fourteenth position with 15 games lost.
