Fifth-rankedGhostHawks (1-4) were very close to win a game against first ranked N.Taipei CTBC (6-2) on Saturday. N.Taipei CTBC managed to secure only three-point victory 88-85 . However their fans expected much easier game. N.Taipei CTBC forced 19 Tainan turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of Croatian center Kristijan Krajina (208-1990, college: Mt.St.Mary's) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 17 points, 20 rebounds and 5 assists. The former international forward Mohammad Gadiaga (188-1998) contributed with 34 points (!!!) for the winners. Indian-Canadian center Sim Bhullar (226-1992, college: NM State) replied with a double-double by scoring 27 points, 13 rebounds and 5 blocks and American forward Nick King (201-1995, college: MTSU) added 11 points, 15 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for Tainan. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Defending champion maintains first position with 6-2 record. Tainan at the other side stay at the bottom place with four games lost.
