There was a small surprise when fifth rankedHappinets (6-11) beat on the road second-ranked Tochigi Brex (13-4) 67-63 on Wednesday. American center Steve Zack (211-1992, college: La Salle) nailed 8 points and 11 rebounds for the winning side and Panamanian-American center Javier Carter (203-1991, college: USA, agency: Slash Sports) accounted for 10 points and 9 rebounds. Happinets' coach used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Tongan-New Zealand Isaac Fotu (203-1993, college: Hawaii) came up with 13 points and 8 rebounds and American guard DJ Newbill (193-1992, college: Penn St.) added 11 points and 5 assists respectively for Tochigi Brex in the defeat. Happinets have a solid series of three victories in a row. Akita NH maintains fifth place with 6-11 record, which they share with Hitachi SRT and Gunma CT. Loser Tochigi Brex still keeps top position with four games lost. They share it with Ryukyu.
