The most surprising game was a loss of top-rankedFukuoka R. (15-4) in Nara on Saturday night. Visitors were defeated by sixth ranked Bambitious (7-12) 68-60 . It was a good game for Senegalese center Cheikh Mbodj (208-1987, college: Cincinnati) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 12 rebounds. Guard Eiji Hayashi (188-1997) contributed with 14 points for the winners. Spanish Pablo Aguilar (204-1989, agency: Octagon Europe) answered with a double-double by scoring 10 points and 14 rebounds and American power forward Gavin Ware (206-1993, college: MSU) added 19 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Fukuoka R.Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Bambitious have an impressive series of six victories in a row. They maintain sixth place with 7-12 record. Fukuoka R. at the other side still keeps top position with four games lost.
