There was a surprise result when twelfth rankedTokyo Z (5-5) defeated on the road higher ranked Yokohama EX (6-4) 83-71 on Sunday. Strangely Yokohama EX outrebounded Tokyo Z 42-30 including a 21-5 advantage in offensive rebounds. Americans were the main players on the court. Guard Cameron Parker (188-1998, college: Portland St.) fired a double-double by scoring 18 points, 5 rebounds and 13 assists for the winners. Forward Jacob Lampkin (206-1996, college: Alaska-Anch.) chipped in 17 points and 4 assists (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field). Grant Sitton (206-1993, college: Victoria) produced 18 points and 8 rebounds and forward Cherif Sow (201-1992) added 13 points and 5 rebounds respectively for lost side. Both coaches tested many bench players saving starting five for next games. Tokyo Z moved-up to tenth place, which they share with Toyoda. Yokohama EX at the other side dropped to the seventh position with four games lost. They share it with Kagawa FA and Tachikawa.
