There was a small surprise in Tokyo where sixth ranked Saga B. (4-5) won against their close opponent Hitachi SRT (2-7) 74-68 on Sunday. It was a great shooting night for Saga B. especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 60.0 percentage. American Chase Fieler (202-1992, college: FGCU) stepped up and scored 21 points and 5 rebounds for the winners and naturalized American forward Josh Harrellson (208-1989, college: Kentucky) chipped in 14 points and 10 rebounds. Saga B.'s coach used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The best for the losing side was American Ryan Kelly (211-1991, college: Duke) with 17 points and 6 rebounds and international point guard Leo Vendrame (183-1993) scored 18 points. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. The victory was the third consecutive win for Saga B.. They moved-up to fourth place, which they share with 3 other teams. Loser Hitachi SRT keeps the sixth position with seven games lost. They share it with Akita NH and Shinshu BW. Saga B. will meet at home Akita NH (#6) in the next round. Hitachi SRT's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Tokyo to the arena Alvark Tokyo.
