No shocking result in a game when first ranked Alvark Tokyo (8-1) smashed on the road 8th ranked Kyoto H. (1-8) 89-59 on Sunday. The former international guard Kai Toews (188-1998, college: UNCW) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 12 points, 5 rebounds and 11 assists for the winners and Brazilian Leonardo Meindl (201-1993) chipped in 20 points. Four Alvark Tokyo players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was American center Charles Jackson (208-1993, college: Tenn Tech) with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 11 rebounds (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field) and the other American import forward Stacy Davis (198, college: Pepperdine) scored 17 points and 5 rebounds.
