There was a small surprise when sixth ranked Ehime OV (3-6) defeated on the road 3rd ranked Aomori W. (6-3) 79-63 on Saturday. They outrebounded Aomori W. 50-32 including a 34-22 advantage in defensive rebounds. American guard Tucker Haymond (195-1994, college: W.Michigan) fired a double-double by scoring 31 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. American-Filipino forward Eugene Phelps (198, college: LBSU) chipped in a double-double by scoring 15 points and 20 rebounds. Czech Patrik Auda (206-1989, college: Seton Hall, agency: Octagon Europe) produced 15 points and 7 rebounds and American forward Jordan Hamilton (201-1990, college: Texas) added 11 points and 9 rebounds respectively for lost side. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Ehime OV maintains sixth position with 3-6 record. Loser Aomori W. dropped to the second place with three games lost.
