There was no surprise in Nagoya where bottom-ranked Niigata R. (0-4) was crushed by top-ranked Toyota A. (4-0) 88-56 on Sunday. Toyota A. forced 20 Niigata R. turnovers and outrebounded them 57-40 including 27 on the offensive glass. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Toyota A. made 7 blocks. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international center Kadysha Umezawa (190-1998) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 15 points and 13 rebounds and the former international Kiho Miyashita (178-1998) who added 11 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists during the contest.
