Regular Season Round 3: Fukushima - Aomori W. 80-85

Rather expected game when Fukushima (2-4) lost at home to Aomori W. (5-1) 85-80 on Sunday. It was an exceptional evening for American forward Jordan Hamilton (201-1990, college: Texas) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 11 rebounds. Guard Mone Hall (190-1999) accounted for 16 points and 6 rebounds for the winning side. Five Aomori W. players scored in double figures. Aomori W.'s coach used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Venezuelan center Gregory Echenique (208-1990, college: Creighton, agency: Pensack Sports) came up with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 16 rebounds and guard Shota Kanno (190-1992) added 20 points respectively for Fukushima in the defeat. Aomori W. will meet at home Ehime OV (#6) in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Fukushima will play against Shizuoka and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
