Very predictable result when Chiba beat on the road Iwate 80-63 on Saturday. Chiba looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists comparing to just 8 passes made by Iwate's players. Swingman Reo Maeda (191-1997) scored 25 points to lead the charge for the winners and American forward Alex Davis (206-1992, college: Fresno St., agency: Diamond Sports) chipped in 13 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. Chiba's coach used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Slovenian forward Martin Krampelj (206-1995, college: Creighton) responded with 17 points and 6 rebounds and American forward Kelvin Martin (196-1989, college: Charleston So.) scored 14 points and 4 steals.
