Second Stage Round 4: SWU - Pythons 75-62

The game had a very big importance for second-ranked SWU as it allowed them to take a leadership position. SWU defeated 3rd ranked Pythons at home 75-62. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Pythons. Strangely Pythons outrebounded SWU 51-33 including a 20-6 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of Ukrainian swingman Sergii Pryimak (204-1996, agency: BIG) who helped to win the game recording 23 points, 9 rebounds and 4 blocks (on 10-of-12 shooting from the field). Ukrainian-Bulgarian guard Vladislav Ungurian (190-1995) contributed with a double-double by scoring 16 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. American point guard Taishaun Johnson (183-1994, college: PVAMU) replied with 22 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists and Singapore point guard Zhong Han Wong (183-1997) added 12 points, 12 rebounds and 7 assists in the effort for Pythons. Four Pythons players scored in double figures. Pythons' coach S. Kao rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. SWU have a solid four-game winning streak. As mentioned above they are at the top of the standings, which they share with Devil Rays. Newly promoted Pythons keep the third place with two games lost. They share the position with Tigers. Pythons will play next round against strong Tigers trying to get back on the winning streak. SWU will try to continue on its current victory against second ranked Devil Rays on the road.
