Regular Season Round 6: SWU - Mammoth 91-72

There was no surprise when 9th ranked Mammoth (1-6) was crushed on the road by third ranked SWU (5-2) 91-72 on Sunday. SWU dominated down low during the game scoring 46 of its points in the paint compared to Mammoth's 26. SWU forced 29 Mammoth turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 30 assists. Ukrainian-Bulgarian guard Vladislav Ungurian (190-1995, agency: Dreamer Sports Agency) had a double-double by scoring 25 points, 13 rebounds and 7 assists to lead the charge for the winners and Ukrainian swingman Sergii Pryimak (204-1996, agency: BIG) chipped in 17 points, 13 rebounds and 6 assists during the contest. Four SWU players scored in double figures. SWU's coach T. Dar Juan used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The best for the losing side was Cholasit Kitbumroong (-2000) with 23 points and 6 rebounds and American forward Alex Smith (201-1988, college: BCU) scored 8 points and 15 rebounds. SWU moved-up to second place, which they share with Wave. Mammoth lost third consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the ninth position with six games lost. SWU will meet Devil Rays (#5) in the next round. Mammoth will play against Eagles (#7) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
