Third defeat of league's leader Satria Muda (27-3) against third ranked Pelita Jaya (27-3) 84-75 was the most important game of the last round. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Satria Muda. It was a key game for the top position in the league. American swingman Dominique Sutton (193-1986, college: NCCU) orchestrated the victory by scoring 22 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. His fellow American import guard Dashaun Wiggins (188-1991, college: Portland St.) contributed with 14 points for the winners. Four Pelita Jaya players scored in double figures. American forward Elijah Foster (197-1996, college: Nevada) answered with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 11 rebounds and the former international Arki Wisnu (187-1988) added 18 points in the effort for Satria Muda. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Pelita Jaya have a solid series of four victories in a row.
