Regular Season Round 32: Kings - Steelers 104-100

No shocking result in a game when first ranked Kings (26-11) beat 5th ranked Steelers (15-22) 104-100 on Sunday. However just four-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Kings looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. The winners were led by guard Joseph Lin (186-1992, college: Hamilton) who scored that evening 22 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists and American swingman Kenny Manigault (195-1991, college: Pikeville) supported him with 24 points, 9 rebounds, 5 assists and 5 steals. Five Kings players scored in double figures. Even a triple-double of 37 points (!!!), 14 rebounds and 12 assists by naturalized American point guard Jeremy Lin (191-1988, college: Harvard) did not help to save the game for Steelers. American forward Gokul Natesan (196-1994, college: Colorado Mines, agency: Haylett Sports) added 23 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists for Kings. Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game. Kings maintains first position with 26-11 record. Loser Steelers keep the fifth place with 22 games lost. Kings will meet bottom-ranked Lioneers (#6) in the next round where they are favorite. Steelers will play against the league's second-placed Fubon Braves in Taipei and hope to secure a win.
