Rather expected game when bottom-ranked Al Khor (0-11) was defeated at home by sixth ranked Al Gharafa (5-6) 85-77 on Wednesday. Al Gharafa looked well-organized offensively handing out 40 assists. American guard Kenny Brown (188-1991, college: Ferris St., agency: SLN) scored 30 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists and 9 steals to lead the charge for the winners and the former international center Mohd Yousuf Mohmmed (204-1982) chipped in 10 points, 15 rebounds and 15 assists during the contest. At the losing side American power forward Tony Criswell (205-1991, college: Missouri) responded with 28 points and 4 assists and the former international center Aladji Bobo Magassa (206-2000) produced a triple-double by scoring 11 points, 12 rebounds and 12 assists. Four Al Gharafa and five Al Khor players scored in double figures. Al Gharafa maintains sixth position with 5-6 record. Loser Al Khor still closes the standings with 11 games lost.
