B1 League top team - Chiba Jets (48-6) managed to deliver another win on Wednesday. This time they beat sixth ranked Ibaraki R. (19-35) in Mito 76-65. American forward Victor Law (201-1995, college: Northwestern, agency: Pensack Sports) fired a double-double by scoring 13 points and 12 rebounds for the winners. The former international point guard Yuki Togashi (170-1993) chipped in 18 points and 4 assists. Four Chiba Jets players scored in double figures. American forward Chehales Tapscott (195-1990, college: Portland St.) produced 10 points and 7 rebounds and the other American import Eric Jacobsen (208-1994, college: Arizona St.) added 8 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for lost side. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Chiba Jets have an impressive series of seven victories in a row.
