Regular Season Round 54: San-en NP - Yokohama BC 87-84

Important game to mention about took place in Hamamatsu. Sixth ranked San-en NP (19-33) saved a 3-point victory at home edging second-best Yokohama BC (31-22) 87-84 on Sunday evening. San-en NP players were unselfish on offense dishing 28 assists. American center Isaiah Hicks (206-1994, college: UNC) had a double-double by scoring 28 points, 13 rebounds and 7 assists to lead the charge for the winners and Kazuki Hosokawa (187-1997) chipped in 26 points during the contest. The best for the losing side was American center Charles Jackson (208-1993, college: Tenn Tech) with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 21 rebounds (perfect from the field making all ten shots !!!) and his fellow American import guard Kai King (182-1985) scored 22 points and 5 assists. Yokohama BC's coach Taketo Aoki tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. San-en NP maintains sixth position with 19-33 record. Yokohama BC at the other side keeps the second place with 22 games lost. San-en NP will play against Toyama G. (#7) on the road in the next round. Yokohama BC will play against Niigata A. (#8) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
