Regular Season Round 54: Hitachi SRT - Sea Horses M. 104-110

There was a minor upset when 3rd ranked Hitachi SRT (25-28) lost to fifth ranked Sea Horses M. (23-30) in Tokyo 104-110 on Sunday. Sea Horses M. looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists. American forward Quincy Miller-Scott (206-1992, college: Baylor, agency: Slash Sports) notched a double-double by scoring 31 points and 10 rebounds to lead the effort and point guard Satoshi Nagano (175-1995) supported him with 19 points and 13 assists. Even 24 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists by American forward James McAdoo (206-1993, college: UNC, agency: Slash Sports) did not help to save the game for Hitachi SRT. His fellow American import Ryan Kelly (211-1991, college: Duke) added 22 points. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Sea Horses M. maintains fifth position with 23-30 record. Loser Hitachi SRT keeps the third place with 28 games lost. Sea Horses M. will meet at home league's leader Kawasaki BT in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Hitachi SRT will play against Shinshu BW in Nagano and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
