Regular Season Round 53: San-en NP - Yokohama BC 83-90

Everything went according to plan in Hamamatsu where second ranked Yokohama BC (31-21) won against 6th ranked San-en NP (18-33) 90-83 on Saturday. Yokohama BC made 16-of-21 free shots (76.2 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists. The game was dominated by American players. Devin Oliver (204-1992, college: Dayton) stepped up and scored 20 points, 9 rebounds and 9 assists for the winners and center Charles Jackson (208-1993, college: Tenn Tech) chipped in 15 points and 10 rebounds. Center Kyle OQuinn (206-1990, college: Norfolk St., agency: Pensack Sports) responded with a triple-double by scoring 28 points, 11 rebounds, 11 assists and 4 blocks (on 13-of-14 shooting from the field) and center Isaiah Hicks (206-1994, college: UNC) scored 20 points and 9 rebounds (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field). Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Yokohama BC maintains second place with 31-21 record having four points less than leader Shimane SM. San-en NP lost third consecutive game. They keep the sixth position with 33 games lost. Yokohama BC will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. San-en NP will play again against the league's second-placed Yokohama BC (#2) and hope to secure a win.
