Regular Season Round 52: Yokohama BC - Toyama G. 87-91

Very important is a home loss of second ranked Yokohama BC (30-21) against seventh ranked Toyama G. (11-40) on Wednesday night. Host Yokohama BC was defeated by Toyama G. in a tough game in Yokohama 87-91. Toyama G. made 21-of-24 free shots (87.5 percent) during the game. They also forced 20 Yokohama BC turnovers. British forward Myles Hesson (198-1990, agency: Octagon Europe) fired 31 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists (made all of his eleven free throws !!!) for the winners. American forward Novar Gadson (201-1989, college: Rider) chipped in 31 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals. American Devin Oliver (204-1992, college: Dayton) produced a double-double by scoring 16 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists and guard Koya Sudo (186-1997) added 26 points (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field) respectively for lost side. Four Yokohama BC players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Toyama G. maintains seventh position with 11-40 record. Yokohama BC lost third consecutive game. They keep the second place with 21 games lost. Toyama G. will meet at home higher ranked Shinshu BW (#4) in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Yokohama BC will play against San-en NP in Hamamatsu and hope to secure a win.
