Regular Season Round 29: Steelers - Fubon Braves 106-105

Important game to mention about was the one when sixth ranked Steelers (11-21) saved a 1-point victory edging second-ranked Fubon Braves (20-12) 106-105 on Sunday evening. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of Fubon Braves. Steelers players were unselfish on offense dishing 29 assists. Naturalized American point guard Jeremy Lin (191-1988, college: Harvard) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 25 points, 9 rebounds and 11 assists for the winners and American forward Gokul Natesan (196-1994, college: Colorado Mines, agency: Haylett Sports) chipped in 27 points, 6 assists and 4 steals. American forward Michael Singletary (198-1988, college: Texas Tech) responded with 24 points and 8 rebounds and the former international guard Tsung-Hsien Chang (192-1988, college: BYU-Hawaii) scored 22 points and 5 assists. Five Steelers and four Fubon Braves players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Steelers maintains sixth place with 11-21 record. Fubon Braves at the other side keep the second position with 12 games lost. Steelers will play against league's leader Kings in Taipei in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Fubon Braves' supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Taipei to the arena Kings.
