We could consider it a predictable result in the game between close teams when sixth ranked Steelers (11-21) beat 5th ranked Lioneers (12-20) 112-103 on Saturday. Steelers made 23-of-29 free shots (79.3 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Jamaican-American power forward Femi Olujobi (206-1996, college: DePaul, agency: Slash Sports) nailed 35 points (!!!) and 9 rebounds for the winning side and naturalized American point guard Jeremy Lin (191-1988, college: Harvard) accounted for 25 points, 6 rebounds and 10 assists. Four Steelers players scored in double figures. The former international power forward Will Artino (211-1992, college: Creighton) came up with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 19 rebounds and point guard Kuo-Hao Kao (179-1998) added 29 points respectively for Lioneers in the defeat. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Steelers maintains sixth place with 11-21 record. Loser Lioneers keep the fifth position with 20 games lost. Steelers will meet league's leader Kings in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
