No shocking result in a game in Sichuan where sixth ranked Guangsha Lions (26-17) won against 18th ranked Blue Whales (10-31) 115-103 on Wednesday. They outrebounded Blue Whales 56-40 including a 22-10 advantage in offensive rebounds. Guangsha Lions looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. The best player for the winners was the former international center Jinqiu Hu (211-1997) who had a double-double by scoring 24 points and 12 rebounds. American guard Dezmine Wells (196-1992, college: Maryland) chipped in 25 points and 4 assists. Five Guangsha Lions players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was American point guard Marlain Veal (175-1996, college: SE Louisiana) who recorded 26 points and 7 assists and guard Xiaoyong Yu (189-2003) added 23 points respectively.
