An exciting game was when First ranked Taiyuan Textile faced 4th ranked Taipower. Taiyuan Textile (11-3) defeated Taipower (2-12) 78-62. The best player for the winners was the former international center Tieh Lin (182-1999) who had a double-double by scoring 10 points and 17 rebounds. The former international guard Hsiao-Tong Peng (168-1998) chipped in 15 points and 5 assists. The former international forward Yi-Tao Su (175-1992) produced 9 points and 10 rebounds and center Zi-Yu Yang (180-1995) added 19 points respectively for Taiyuan Textile. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Taiyuan Textile maintains first position with 11-3 record, which they share with Cathay Life. Taipower at the other side stay at the bottom place with 12 games lost. Taiyuan Textile is looking forward to face league's second-placed Cathay Life in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Taipower will play against Chunghwa Telecom and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
