Regular Season Round 20: Changhua - Taiwan Beer 71-58

Very important is a loss of third ranked Taiwan Beer (9-11) against fourth ranked Changhua (7-13) on Sunday night. Taiwan Beer was defeated by Changhua 71-58. The winners were led by American forward Julian Boyd (203-1990, college: LIU Brooklyn) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 34 points (!!!), 15 rebounds and 4 assists and point guard Hao-Wei Chiang (175-1998) supported him with 6 points and 6 assists. Even 15 points and 8 rebounds by American Tavarion Nix (201-1992, college: Midwestern St.) did not help to save the game for Taiwan Beer. Swingman Hao-Chi Wang (195-1993) added 10 points and 9 rebounds for Changhua. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Newly promoted Changhua maintains fourth position with 7-13 record. Taiwan Beer at the other side keeps the third place with 11 games lost. Changhua will play against league's leader Yulon Luxgen in the next round and it may be the game of the week. Taiwan Beer will play against the league's second-placed Bank of Taiwan and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
