The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of top-ranked Taiyuan Textile (10-3) against third ranked Chunghwa Telecom on Saturday night. Chunghwa Telecom were edged by third ranked Chunghwa Telecom (4-9) 66-65. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Taiyuan Textile. Chunghwa Telecom forced 19 Taiyuan Textile turnovers. The former international guard Szu-Chin Pan (170-1992) stepped up and scored 11 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners and the former international power forward Hsiang-Ting Huang (180-1993) chipped in 15 points. At the losing side the former international center Tieh Lin (182-1999) responded with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 17 rebounds and the former international guard Ying-Li Huang (170-1989) scored 17 points and 4 assists. Chunghwa Telecom maintains third place with 4-9 record having six points less than leader Taiyuan T. Taiyuan Textile at the other side still keeps top position with three games lost. They share it with Cathay Life. Chunghwa Telecom are looking forward to face league's second-placed Cathay Life in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Taiyuan Textile will play against Taipower and is hoping to win this game.
