Regular Season Round 47: Niigata A. - Hokkaido L. 92-81

There was a small surprise when eighth ranked Niigata A. (7-39) won against at home their close opponent Hokkaido L. (13-33) 92-81 on Saturday. They outrebounded Hokkaido L. 38-19 including a 27-11 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a great shooting night for Niigata A. especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.4 percentage. It was a great evening for Hungarian-American Rosco Allen (208-1993, college: Stanford, agency: Pensack Sports) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 11 rebounds. American forward Keve Aluma (206-1998, college: Virginia Tech, agency: Pensack Sports) helped adding 18 points and 8 rebounds. Australian forward Brock Motum (208-1990, college: WSU) responded with 17 points and 4 assists and American forward Shawn Long (208-1993, college: Louisiana, agency: Pensack Sports) scored 18 points. Five Niigata A. and four Hokkaido L. players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Niigata A. maintains eighth place with 7-39 record which they share with defeated Hokkaido L. Loser Hokkaido L. keeps the eighth position with 33 games lost. Niigata A. will again meet at home Hokkaido L. (#8) in the next round. Hokkaido L. will have a break next round.
