Not a big story in a game when 7th ranked Kagawa FA (14-38) was defeated on the road by second ranked Nagasaki (36-16) 89-74 on Sunday. Nagasaki dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Kagawa FA's 30. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. The best player for the winners was American forward Matt Bonds (196-1995, college: St.Michael's) who scored 21 points and 8 rebounds. Filipino-Australian guard Jordan Heading (188-1996, college: CBU) chipped in 18 points. Four Nagasaki players scored in double figures. Australian forward Rhys Vague (206-1996) produced 21 points and 7 rebounds and American center Nigel Spikes (208-1989, college: Marshall) added 8 points and 8 rebounds respectively for the guests.
