Very predictable result when first ranked Saga B. (40-12) defeated at home 6th ranked Yamagata (21-31) 73-56 on Sunday. Saga B. looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Saga B. made 8 blocks. The best player for the winners was American Chase Fieler (202-1992, college: FGCU) who scored 20 points, 7 rebounds, 9 assists and 4 blocks. The former international forward Takanobu Nishikawa (195-1992) chipped in 19 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Four Saga B. players scored in double figures. American-Panamanian center Javier Carter (203-1991, college: USA, agency: Slash Sports) produced 18 points and 8 rebounds (was perfect 9-for-9 from the free throw line !!!) and American James Bell (196-1992, college: Villanova, agency: Slash Sports) added 13 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) respectively for the guests.
