The game between closely ranked teams ended with fifth ranked Sea Horses M.'s (18-27) home victory over 6th ranked Osaka E. (20-25) 72-62 on Sunday. American forward Quincy Miller-Scott (206-1992, college: Baylor, agency: Slash Sports) fired a double-double by scoring 27 points and 12 rebounds for the winners. The other American import power forward Davante Gardner (203-1991, college: Marquette) chipped in 22 points and 7 rebounds (made all of his twelve free throws !!!). American guard DJ Newbill (193-1992, college: Penn St.) produced 15 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists and American-Jamaican power forward Kyle Hunt (208-1989, college: USAO, agency: BIG) added 8 points and 8 rebounds respectively for lost side. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Sea Horses M. maintains fifth position with 18-27 record. Loser Osaka E. dropped to the fourth place with 25 games lost. They share the position with FE Nagoya and Shinshu BW. Sea Horses M. will meet at home league's second-placed Alvark Tokyo in the next round and it may be quite challenging game.
