Very expected game in Kanagawa where 7th ranked Ibaraki R. (15-30) was defeated by first ranked Kawasaki BT (29-16) 81-75 on Sunday. However just six-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. American-Georgian Matt Janning (195-1988, college: Northeastern) chipped in 12 points and 6 assists. Four Kawasaki BT players scored in double figures. American forward Chehales Tapscott (195-1990, college: Portland St.) produced a double-double by scoring 27 points and 15 rebounds and his fellow American import Eric Jacobsen (208-1994, college: Arizona St.) added 10 points and 9 rebounds respectively for lost side.
