Regular Season Round 45: Tochigi Brex - San-en NP 80-68

The game between closely ranked teams ended with 6th ranked San-en NP's (16-28) road loss to fifth ranked Tochigi Brex (23-21) 68-80 on Saturday. Tochigi Brex shot the lights out from three sinking 16 long-distance shots on high 53.3 percentage. American center Grant Jerrett (208-1993, college: Arizona) nailed 13 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists for the winning side and guard Seiji Ikaruga (185-1994) accounted for 19 points (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field). Filipino guard Ferdinand Ravena (189-1996) came up with 21 points and 5 rebounds and American center Kyle OQuinn (206-1990, college: Norfolk St., agency: Pensack Sports) added 8 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists respectively for San-en NP in the defeat. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Defending champion moved-up to third place, which they share with Akita NH and Gunma CT. San-en NP lost their fifth game in a row. They keep the sixth position with 28 games lost. Tochigi Brex will again meet at home San-en NP (#6) in the next round. San-en NP will have a break next round.
